Consultations in Gibraltar
Five of them. Four cost nothing, and none of them ends with a treatment on the same day. That is not a scheduling quirk. It is how you avoid being talked into something in a room you cannot easily leave.

Why Free
Four free consultations is a commercial decision. It is also the only version of this that is honest.
Because you should not have to pay to find out we cannot help you.
A consultation that costs money is a consultation with a result already implied. Charging for the assessment and then refunding it against treatment quietly puts a thumb on the scale — and the person it presses hardest on is the one who should be told no.
So four of ours are free, and none of them ends in a treatment on the same day. You leave with a written plan, a price, and time to think about it somewhere that is not our lounge.
The five consultations
A few pulses on a hidden patch of skin at the settings we would treat you with. It checks how your skin reacts and, just as importantly, whether your hair holds enough pigment for laser to work at all. Required before your first session, and we wait at least 48 hours afterwards.
Before any laser
A magnified camera reads density, follicle health and the direction the thinning is travelling. You watch the same screen we do. It is the only sound basis for a scalp plan, and it also tells us when the answer is to wait.
Before any scalp work
Thirty minutes with Dr Natalie Olivera, BDS (Hons) MFDS RCS (Eng), general dentist and Level 7 aesthetics clinician. Full medical history, an assessment of your skin and your face in movement, the options in plain language, and a written plan you take away.
The one to book if unsure
For anyone part-way through a course. We look at what has changed, adjust the plan, and say so if it is not working as expected. After an injectable treatment this review is part of the treatment rather than an extra.
Mid-course, or after
An hour, working backwards from a date. Which treatments, in which order, with how long between them and how much clear time before the day. This is the one consultation that costs, because it is a full hour of planning, and the £100 comes off any treatment you go on to have.

You see the same screen we do. There is no version of the assessment you are not shown.
What Happens
Thirty minutes, and what fills them.
You say what is bothering you.
In your own words, not in treatment names. The most useful sentence anyone says in this room is usually about a photograph they did not like.
Medical history, properly.
Medication, allergies, skin conditions, previous treatments, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and anything you are being treated for. It takes a few minutes and it decides what is safe.
We look at your skin, and sometimes scan it.
Under good light, at rest and in movement. Where it helps, on screen at magnification, which shows things a mirror never will.
Options, in order, with the honest limits.
What each one does, how long it takes, how long it lasts, what it costs, and what it will not fix. Including, where it applies, the option of doing nothing.
You leave with it in writing.
A plan and a price. Nothing is booked in the room unless you ask, and nothing is treated on the day.
Bring
Four things worth bringing.
The names of any medication you take, including anything for acne, anything that thins the blood, and anything prescribed for your skin. A photograph of the boxes on your phone is enough.
What you currently put on your skin. Retinoids and acids in particular change what we can do and when.
A face without make-up if you can manage it. If you cannot, we will remove it. It is not a problem, it just costs a few minutes.
Your questions, written down. People forget them in the room, every time, and then think of them in the car.

Consultations, answered.
Is the consultation really free?
Four of the five are, including the aesthetics consultation. You pay nothing whether or not you book a treatment afterwards, and you are not asked for a card. Only the hour-long wedding consultation costs, and that £100 comes off any treatment you have.
Will I be pressured into booking?
No, and the structure is designed to make it difficult. Nothing is treated on the day, you leave with the plan in writing, and the person who assesses you is the person who would treat you rather than a separate salesperson.
What if you say I should not have anything?
Then that is the outcome, and it costs you nothing. Sometimes the honest answer is a different treatment, sometimes it is a skincare change, and sometimes it is waiting six months. Not every consultation ends in a booking.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. Many people do, and it often makes for a better conversation. If you are under 18 we will require a parent or guardian present, and there are treatments we will not perform at all under 18.
How long before I can be treated?
For laser, at least 48 hours after the patch test. For injectables, we ask for a cooling-off period so you have time to read the plan. For most other treatments you can book from the same week, and the diary is usually the limit rather than the clinical need.
Do you consult in Spanish?
Yes. The team works in English and Español, and a medical history is not a conversation to have in your second language if you would rather not. Say which you prefer when you book.
