The Signature Facial
Our one facial, and it does two things in a single visit.
A rejuvenation pass paired with a carbon peel, in one hour. The first works on tone and redness; the second empties the pores and refines texture. Neither on its own gives what the pair give together, which is why we only offer them combined.
Redness and uneven tone settle, which is the change most people are actually asking for when they say their skin looks tired.
Pores look emptier and smaller, and skin takes make-up better for the following week.
Fine lines soften slightly. Slightly. Anyone promising more than that from a facial is overselling it.
No downtime. An hour of flush, then you look like you have had a very good night’s sleep.
An hour, and you sit down for all of it.
Medical Microneedling

Controlled injury, which sounds worse than it is.
Very fine needles make thousands of microscopic channels in the skin. The skin responds the way skin responds to any injury — by building new collagen and elastin — and it is that rebuild, over the following weeks, that changes texture and scarring.
The channels also let medical-grade serums reach a depth they could never reach from a bottle. What goes in with the needling is what separates the two prices on the tariff.
Numbing cream, then thirty minutes of waiting.
Applied across the area and left to work properly. This is the part that makes the treatment comfortable, and rushing it is the reason microneedling has a reputation for hurting.
The needling pass, at a depth chosen for the area.
Shallower around the eyes, deeper on scarring across the cheeks. Dr Natalie sets the depth per zone rather than running one setting over the whole face.

What we use depends on what we are treating. This is decided at the consultation and it is written down before anything is agreed.
Two to three days of looking like mild sunburn.
Pink, tight and a little rough on day two. It settles quickly. The actual result arrives four to six weeks later, when the new collagen has been laid down.
Is It Right For Me
Where each one earns its money.
Microneedling suits acne scarring, enlarged pores, uneven texture, fine lines and early laxity. It is one of the few treatments with a genuine structural effect that does not involve an injectable.
The facial suits anyone who wants their skin to look better this week rather than in six. It is also the right first appointment if you have never had anything done and want to see how your skin behaves.
We will not needle over active acne, an infection, a cold sore, or freshly tanned skin. Tell us about any history of keloid scarring, any blood-thinning medication, and any roaccutane use in the last six months.

Questions
Skin treatments, answered.
Which should I book first?
If you have never had anything done, the signature facial. It is comfortable, it has no downtime and it tells us how your skin behaves. Microneedling is a bigger commitment and works best as a course, so it is worth a consultation first.
Does microneedling hurt?
Not with proper numbing, which we leave on for a full thirty minutes. Most people describe pressure and vibration rather than pain. The forehead and the area along the jaw are the sharpest. It is over in about twenty minutes of actual needling.
How long until I see a difference?
The facial shows within a day or two and holds for a week or so. Microneedling works the other way round: you look worse for three days and better at week four to six, when the new collagen has formed. The best result is after a course of three to six.
Will microneedling fix acne scarring?
It improves rolling and boxcar scarring meaningfully over a course. It does less for deep ice-pick scars, which need a different approach. We will look at your skin and tell you which kind you have before you commit to anything.
Can I have it in summer?
Yes, with sunscreen discipline. Treated skin pigments easily and we live somewhere very sunny. If you are about to spend a fortnight on a beach, have it after rather than before, and use SPF 50 daily in between.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
After the facial, yes, the same evening. After microneedling, no, for twenty-four hours — the channels are still open. From day two a mineral base is fine, and by day four most people are back to normal.
Why is medical microneedling more expensive?
Because of what goes in with it and who performs it. The £220 treatment is led by Dr Natalie Olivera, BDS (Hons) MFDS RCS (Eng), general dentist and Level 7 aesthetics clinician, and uses a more advanced combination of serums and boosters chosen for your skin. The difference is in the ingredients, not the needling.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Often, but not on the same day and not in any order. Laser, needling and injectables all need space around them. A consultation will sequence them properly, which usually saves both money and healing time.
